Ankama Intervention 1
[Siu] - Ankama staff - March 26, 2025, 18:12:26
Hello,
Thanks for your feedback. We'll be looking at some of our changes to tweak or even cancel them.
However, the spirit of the general power reductions linked to sublimations or Xelor spells, for example, will be kept.
The idea is indeed to nerf it, and we believe that Xelor will remain a class quite on par with the others.
Here are a few changes we can already tell you for the next Beta (there will be more):
- On the Xelor, we're going to make it possible to cast Distortion as early as level 0. This will give 6 damage per AP, while level 1 will give 12, level 2 will give 18, and so on.
- We'll also be changing a couple of damage modifications, notably on Dark Bolt.
- On the Enutrof, Excavation will regain its former no-line of sight condition.
- As for the Sadida, we're currently looking into it. It's complicated because having a huge, fully boosted Ultra-Powerful on turn 2 wasn't quite our initial intentions. Maybe there's a better balance to be found.
I understand that some of the feedback expresses concern about the length of post-update fights. It is true that a global power reduction for most comps is to be expected with this update.
That's why, to accompany the power reduction on sublimations and certain classes, we're going to reduce the HP of monsters and bosses above a certain level (let's say 170, we're still in the process of studying this). This would be a progressively greater reduction, and it should be implemented with update 1.87. The idea is not to halve every mob's HP, but to have a tangible reduction (at least 10%).
This will allow us to maintain effective classes even after the nerfs, but also to boost all the game's classes by making fights more accessible.
In conclusion, this will be a first step in narrowing the gap between highly optimized players and those still progressing.
We understand that the efficiency of your classes is an important part of your gaming experience. We'll continue to make moves in this direction if necessary.
Thank you again for your feedback. I'm glad you were all constructive and thorough with your analysis. I really support having this kind of feedback, it's great reading this even though we can't always fully agree on everything.
See you soon for the next Beta updates !
Siu.

[Siu] - Ankama staff - April 09, 2025, 14:43:15
Thank you all for your feedback. We've been working on some final class tweaks for update 1.87 :
Cra
Innate
- Evasive
- Improved value when keeping Evasive
- +1% DI per Evasive level
- +1 Sharpening + 1 Precision Per Evasive level
Spells
- Flaming arrow
- Adjusted damage: 108 → 100
- Precise shot
- Revert: Returning to previous cost. It becomes less costly and less binary. In addition, we think that the extra WP cost to remove Precise shot is well aligned with the new WP gains & uses on the class.
- Lashing
- Applies / unapplies Precise shot
- The MP removal is limited to 2 / end of turn anymore
- Precise shot cost is reduced by 1 AP / turn anymore (Note: Original text slightly ambiguous, interpretation based on context)
- Beacon (normal)
- Can be placed without passive
- Requires line of sight
- Doesn't push around the target anymore
Passives
- Devious Archer
- Tweaked according to the new Precise shot
- The passive grants no Sharpening or Precision
- Sharp mind
- Tweaked according to the new Precise shot
- Beacon bonus is only active when entering in the Precise shot mode
- Discreet beacons
- Removed effect
- Beacons can be placed from farther when Beaconed
- Massive Beacon

- +50 Sharpening and Precision
- Cra Perforation
- Revert: Too complete change on a passive that snowballs too much. We are not yet at a final state regarding this.
- Sharpened Arrowhead doesn't give any %DI
- Protective point:
- Gameplay orientation "faster preparation at the cost of harder WP management"
- +15% damage inflicted for the first elemental spell
- The WP gains from Sharpened point are halved
- The way of the bow
- +5 Sharpening & Precision per MP removed

- Celestial gift
- AP gains in Beta were unnaturally high. We're adding a limit on AP gain, although it was our intention to keep the AP gain based on the finalization of Celestial Gift, the final test in Beta will allow us to judge if this is a good direction or if it ends up making the class rely less on Celestial Portal.
- AP regain becomes an AP buff. 2/turn
- Cannot stack when the target is already performed bonus
